■ Characteristics:
● Material: Locknut, Body, Sealing Nut (Spiral Spring) are made from Stainless Steel SS304, SS316 or SS316L.
● Claw: Made from UL-certified nylon 66, 94V-2 (contact us for 94V-0 material).
● Sealing Insert & O-ring: Made in oil resistant NBR (also available in EPDM, Viton Rubber or Silicone Rubber).
● Metric Thread: According to the European standard EN60423.
● Standard Color: Metallic silver.
● Protection Degree: Up to IP68 (only if the cable is within the specific clamping range and assemble the O-ring).
● Operation Temperature: Static: -40℃ to 100℃, short-term: 120℃. Dynamic: -20℃ to 80℃, short-term: 100℃.
■ Functions & Applications:
Equipped with internal metal Intermediate Contact Disc (D) which can contact the screen of shielded cable to provide 360 degree earthing, stainless steel EMC shielding cable glands with cable protector help to achieve an optimum low-resistance EMC bonding and to be attached to withstand the interference of electromagnetic radiation from cables carrying high levels of harmonics. Due to this metal earthing contact, such a gland can provide continuous EMC protection against electromagnetic interference and the cable range is the same when compared with a normal gland. In addition, stainless steel EMC shielding cable glands with cable protector limits the cable bending to avoid excessive twist and protect the cable jacket against break at the bending point to reduce the risk of electric leakage.
